In the blade workshop district, where the 700-year tradition of Echizen Uchihamono is carried on, a sudden sight of towering monuments—over 4 meters tall—of a santoku knife and a nakiri knife marks the location of the “Echizen Uchihamono Hall.”

The shop offers professional-grade knives and more at local production prices.
Products that combine traditional craftsmanship with the latest technology—such as stainless steel blades—have also been developed, attracting top-level chefs to visit and make purchases.
Inside the hall, there are exhibits explaining the history of forged blades, as well as services for knife repair and sharpening.
