In September 2025, “AB Hotel Echizen Takefu,” the first AB Hotel in Fukui Prefecture, opened near the Takefu Interchange. Based on the concept “Amenity Bright—comfortable, pleasant, and brightly shining—,” the hotel features a simple, refined design and well-equipped facilities. Its standout features include a complimentary breakfast featuring locally produced rice “Akisakari” and the Echizen location’s exclusive “Sauce Katsu Bar,” as well as a spacious public bath where guests can relax and stretch out. In addition, a complimentary welcome drink service is available, offering coffee and tea. Guest rooms equipped for telework and a large parking area are also available, ensuring a comfortable stay for both business and leisure travelers.
