The Big 3 Gourmet of Echizen/Japanese Cuisine & Ryotei/Western Food & Cafes
Echizen Takefu Roadside Station, which opened on Saturday, March 18, is a facility adjacent to Echizen Takefu Station, a new station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line. Many people think of Fukui as a place where seafood is delicious, and this roadside station, operated and managed by a local fresh fish restaurant, is attracting a lot of attention. At the exchange plaza (within the premises of the roadside station), you can BBQ fresh fish, meat, and produce from the roadside station on the spot. It can also be used for overnight stays in a car, camping, etc.
Spacious merchandising area with open ceiling. We sell a variety of fresh fish such as fresh "crab" and "tuna" which are well-received as Echizen City hometown tax return gifts. We are also planning and developing confections using "Ichihomare" produced in the prefecture and "Benishikibu" rice grown in the city.
A variety of restaurants featuring "crab," "fresh fish," and "soba" (buckwheat noodles) unique to Echizen City are available! The lineup also includes Fukui Prefecture's B-class gourmet foods such as Volga Rice and Sauce Katsudon.
