Opened in December 2019, “Farmer’s Takoyaki Queen” is, true to its name, a takoyaki shop run by local farmers who grow rice, cabbage, and green onions. Their specialties, the “Takoyaki” and the green onion–packed “Negiyaki,” are both hearty and satisfying. They also offer a wide variety of items, including rice balls made with their homegrown “Milky Queen” rice, taiyaki, the “Okonomi Tsukimi Burger” made with Hakusan pork, and “mini mini taiyaki”. Seasonal limited-time menu items appear depending on the harvest period for their vegetables. At the storefront, they also sell freshly harvested vegetables and other seasonal produce, attracting a steady flow of customers.
