Sightseeing Spots
A plaza located within Takefu Central Park, developed under the supervision of picture book author Satoshi Kako, who was born in Echizen City. The park features playground equipment and benches inspired by Mr. Kako’s picture books. The large multi-play structure “Karasu no Panya-san no Kazaguruma Tō,” which includes giant slides and athletic equipment, and the cloud-like trampoline play area “Daruma-chan to Kaminari-chan no Fuwafuwa Kumo” are especially popular with children. On hot days, they can also enjoy playing in the water. In autumn, the plaza also serves as the venue for the “Takefu Chrysanthemum Doll Exhibition.”
