Sightseeing Spots
A memorial museum dedicated to Satoshi Kako, a picture book author from Echizen City, featuring his picture books and related materials. Mr.Kako created around 600 works, including his representative “Daruma-chan” series and “The Crow Bakery.” Inside the museum, there are spaces where families can lie down and read picture books together, hands-on toys for traditional games, and hall for film screenings—various corners designed to nurture children’s creativity and curiosity. On the second floor, visitors can view reproduced original illustrations from picture books and purchase related merchandise.
